Opaque Armor: Five sided armoring of passenger compartment using ballistic steel plating to defeat high-powered rifle fire, 7.62 x 51 M80 NATO Ball @ 2,750 fps (Meets CEN level B6 and NIJ III level, see Ballistic Specifications Chart).
Floor is fitted with steel blast protection to protect occupants against fragmentation from simultaneous detonation of 2 DM-51 German ordnance hand grenades or equivalent. Armoring included on kick panels, Front fenders, rear wheel wells, firewall, A, B, and C door pillars and posts.
Armor consists of all welded ballistic grade steel construction. The interior frame, constructed of ballistic grade steel, provides overlap and backup protection for the large-surface principal impact areas such as the doors and windows. It also reinforces the structural integrity of the pillars and other areas that are typically ignored or poorly armored by other manufacturers.
Vehicle armoring shall be constructed in such a way as to ensure that a projectile following a linear or angled path shall not enter the vehicles interior without contacting the armor material. In addition to this, the possibility of a projectile entering the vehicles interior due to a ricochet from the armor shall also be minimized.

KANAS offers tailor made specialist security driver training. Our experts have multiple years of experience in conflict and post conflict areas and they are highly capable to train drivers under different situations to move an armored vehicle by analyzing potential risks.
KANAS instructors have a broad knowledge backed up by considerable practical experience that means the driver training you get is based on sound technical principles backed up by proven application in the real world regions such as Afghanistan and Iraq.
Driver training is offered to personnel working for Government Agencies, Police, Army, Diplomatic Missions, International NGOs, Security Agents, Bodyguards, PSD team operatives and Security Drivers.
Its a two day course and armored vehicle designated drivers will receive all the basic knowledge through theory lessons and practical training. An armored vehicle has to be inspected every 3 months to check its integrity of protection and maintenance requirements. Armored vehicles have a normal life span of five years depending on its use and environmental conditions. KANAS provides this service of AV inspections at customers site.
KANAS is able to provide solutions to any of the issues with your armored vehicles. We can identify the errors and provide complete inspection reports and possible solutions of the negative reports.
KANAS can do inspections for both new and used armored vehicles and provide a report of integrity of protection and maintenance concerns. KANAS can send its technical person to visit on site in any country subject to visa approvals and client support.

Warranty – Armored Vehicles:
KANAS warrants vehicles are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Armoring is covered under warranty for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery or 24,000 miles (whichever first occurs). This warranty is extendable for another one year on special rates at the time of vehicle buying contract.
KANAS understands the importance of quality, and we take every possible step to ensure that, even though we keep the vehicle purchase costs at a minimal level, we offer some of the finest armored vehicles available in the market today. Through our ongoing testing, research and consultations with our clients, we stay on top of new developments and changes in the market, and this allows us to remain confident in the quality of each and every vehicle that leaves our production facility.
As a result of this unending effort to offer the finest products available to our clients, KANAS is proud to provide our clients with our One-Year limited conversion warranty, which covers the conversion-related ballistic materials (excluding ballistic glass) and workmanship in our armored vehicles against defect and/or malfunction under normal use.
Unfortunately, due to OEM restrictions on modifications to their vehicles, platform vehicles used for after-market armoring conversions are often no longer covered by the Original Manufacturers warranty.
Ballistic glass is covered against defect only, and by original manufacturers warranty (if not our own manufactured glass). KANAS own glasses “Armor Protected GLass” comes in two years warranty.
KANAS assumes no responsibility for damages incurred through vehicle misuse or abuse, negligence, accidental damage, or any unauthorized modifications or alterations made to the vehicle following delivery of the vehicle to the client.
Under the terms of this limited warranty, KANAS shall in no way be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from loss of use or time, inconvenience, or commercial loss resulting from the need for warranty work. KANAS does not warrant loss of life in any case.
This warranty covers the repair and/or replacement of warranty related items only, and any non- warranty related additional costs incurred remain the responsibility of the client. Accessories not directly related to the armoring process (winches, lighting, shields, etc.) shall be covered by the warranties of their respective manufacturers, and are not included in the warranty coverage from KANAS. However, although KANAS does not warrant these items in any way, we do agree to offer any reasonable assistance in obtaining servicing from their companies of origin.
Should there be any undue difficulties with obtaining servicing of these accessories; KANAS will also agree to replace them for the client at our current wholesale cost price. The client shall remain responsible for any/all shipping and handling fees or incidental costs associated with the replacement of such items, as well as the aforementioned replacement cost.
Terms and conditions that are specifically excluded from warranty are:
- Damage Caused By Accidents, Misuse, Negligence, And Improper Vehicle Operation.
- Any Modification Or Alteration To Any Standard Specifications Or Equipment.
- Any Repairs Made By An Unauthorized Dealer Or Service Firm.
- Use Of Non-Genuine Parts For Repairs Or Alteration To Standard Specifications.
- Damage Caused By Failure To Perform Factory Scheduled Service Maintenance.
- Damage Which Occurs As A Result Of Improper Storage.
- Damage Caused By The Use Of Improper Fuel Or Lubricants.

Production time depend on number of units. Minimum 25 armored vehicles can be built in one month.
Built time for 2 Toyota Coasters is 3 weeks.

Payment Terms:
50% Advance deposit required with signed contract and purchase order.
Balance amount is required upon completion of armoring and PDI at our factory.
All payments must be paid to KANAS prior to shipment.
Documentation/Approvals:
Customer will arrange necessary approval documents / NOC from destination country to get approval from respective Consulate in UAE. KANAS will help and assist free of charge to take approvals from Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE and clearance from Customs/any other local authorities. Customs local handling fees are the responsibility of the customer.
